At our last department meeting we discussed the "First Service Delivery Date" and developed a few questions to pose to support staff to review the material from the DE.
To refresh you, the first service delivery date must occur within 30 days of the IFSP meeting. When a home visit is completed for the first time, click the "first service delivery button" and record log notes. If you miss the timeline for starting a service, you will be given a drop down menu to select a reason for delay and a note will need to be entered to justify the reason for the missed date.
Now you have the answers, in case a support person seeks help or clarification from you. Didn't want you to be in the blind! Encourage them to read the information, take the 3 point quiz and hit submit!
